Students !
Pick one of those freshly baked galleries
to satisfy your hunger for knowledge about your aircraft ;-)

I took those below the other day. Ahhhhhhhh...... look at that beautiful damper. I thought, I'll never get to see it. Now almost every questions should be answered, huhh... ?
If not, please make a list and ask me. Please, don't be content with only knowing half of the helicopter you are flying ;-)

This little placard is mounted below the pilot door and almost caused me sleepless nights ;-)

The Type certificate is the description of all the features that make up the helicopter and outlines the limitations within the helicopter may be operated.
Most of that data is to be found in the R22 RFM (POH). That means, if you are wondering where that darn type certificate data is, we are carrying it with us on every flight.

The production certificate, is a certificate that allows Robinson to produce multiple aircraft under that one type certificate.

This is the Type: Roninson R22 Beta
Serial Number (SN) 3732
Type Certificate (TC) H10WE
Production Certificate (PC) 424 WE

Just wanted to point out how the aft swashplate control rod gets it's way to actually reach over behind the mast.
The component you can see here that facilitates that is called "Jackshaft Assebly".
